We are seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to oversee the design, installation, commissioning and handover of mechanical, electrical and public health systems across a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, industrial and logistics projects.
What You'll Do
- Ensure the efficient, safe and cost‐effective delivery of all MEP services including water, gas, electricity, communications, HVAC, ICT, security, life‐safety and vertical transport systems.
- Manage the full life‐cycle from pre‐construction planning through to on‐site delivery and commissioning, working closely with internal teams, consultants and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the MEP design and coordination process during pre‐construction.
- Coordinate incoming utility supplies.
- Oversee and monitor procurement, installation and commissioning of building services.
- Conduct technical compliance reviews of contractors' design & installation information and provide feedback for incorporation.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, health & safety and sustainability standards.
- Manage subcontractors and resolve technical queries and design issues.
- Maintain MEP programmes, RFIs, drawing registers and project documentation.
- Produce project reports and contribute to progress and client meetings.
- Deliver value‐engineering solutions while maintaining quality and functionality.
- Manage the MEP completion and handover requirements of the project.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience managing MEP packages on large‐scale construction projects.
- Proven expertise in residential, commercial and industrial builds.
- Degree or HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering or related field.
- ECS Manager's Card or CSCS Black Card.
- SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.
- Strong communication, leadership and commercial skills.
