We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Midlands team to work on a new build Industrial job in Stoke. What You’ll Do

  • Working on a variety of industrial projects in the Midlands reporting directly to one of our Commercial Managers.
  • The role is primarily site based and will provide commercial support to the project teams on all projects for which they are responsible.
  • Ensure that projects are administered effectively and that the business objectives in terms of appropriate commercial targets and customer focus are achieved.

What We’re Looking For

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor working for a Main Contractor.
  • Familiarity with JCT/NEC forms of contract.
  • Knowledge of current Construction Law.
  • Experience in commercial management.
  • Experience in procurement of subcontractors, measurement and control cycle, certificates and accruals calculations.
  • Good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis.

  • Ability to work in a team environment contributing across the business unit.
  • Good management skills.
  • Ability to motivate self and colleagues to achieve high standards of compliance.
  • Good operational planning and time management skills.
