Caddick Construction is a family‐owned business renowned for quality, integrity, and innovation in the construction sector. We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our Midlands team to work on a residential/multi‐room project in Wolverhampton, based between office and site.
What You'll Do
- Work on a variety of industrial projects in the Midlands reporting directly to one of our Commercial Managers.
- Primarily site‐based commercial support to the project teams on all projects for which you are responsible.
- Ensure that projects are administered effectively and that business objectives in terms of appropriate commercial targets and customer focus are achieved.
What We're Looking For
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor working for a Main Contractor.
- Familiarity with JCT/NEC/ forms of contract.
- Knowledge of current Construction Law.
- Experience in commercial management.
- Experience in procurement of subcontractors, measurement and control cycle, certificates and accruals calculations.
- Good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis.
