We are seeking an M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team to work on a variety of projects across the Residential and Industrial markets. Responsibilities

  • Working on a variety of industrial projects in the Midlands reporting directly to one of our Commercial Managers.
  • The role is primarily site based and will provide commercial support to the project teams on all projects/M&E packages for which they are responsible.
  • Ensure that projects they are administered effectively and that the business objectives in terms of appropriate commercial targets and customer focus are achieved.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor working for a Main Contractor.
  • Experience managing M&E packages is essential.
  • Familiarity with JCT/NEC forms of contract.
  • Knowledge of current Construction Law.
  • Experience in commercial management.
  • Experience in procurement of subcontractors, measurement and control cycle, certificates and accruals calculations.
  • Good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis.
