We are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team in the North East due to a number of exciting new projects. What You'll Do
- Work on a variety of projects in the North East, reporting directly to a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager.
- Provide primarily site‐based commercial support to project teams.
- Ensure projects are administered effectively and that business objectives in terms of commercial targets and customer focus are met.
What We're Looking For
Skills and Experience
- Proven commercial experience working for a main contractor.
- Familiarity with JCT/NEC and other forms of contract.
- Knowledge of current construction law.
- Experience in commercial management.
- Experience in procurement of subcontractors, measurement and control cycle, certificates and accruals calculations.
- Good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis.
