We are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team in the North East due to a number of exciting new projects. What You'll Do

  • Work on a variety of projects in the North East, reporting directly to a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager.
  • Provide primarily site‐based commercial support to project teams.
  • Ensure projects are administered effectively and that business objectives in terms of commercial targets and customer focus are met.

What We're Looking For

Skills and Experience

  • Proven commercial experience working for a main contractor.
  • Familiarity with JCT/NEC and other forms of contract.
  • Knowledge of current construction law.
  • Experience in commercial management.
  • Experience in procurement of subcontractors, measurement and control cycle, certificates and accruals calculations.
  • Good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis.
