The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking Clerks to Governors to join our team. This flexible and part-time role allows you to support one, two, or three schools, depending on your availability and preference. This role is perfect for individuals who excel in providing high-quality administrative support to governing bodies. By joining us, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the effective governance of our schools.
As a Clerk to Governor, your responsibilities will include:
- Administrative and Organisational Support: Offering comprehensive administrative support to the governing body, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and maintaining documentation.
- Governance Guidance: Providing advice on governance, constitutional, and procedural matters to ensure the governing body complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Procedural Advice: Guiding the governing body on procedural issues to facilitate efficient meetings and decision-making processes.
