We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Cleaner to join our friendly and dedicated cleaning team at our brand-new Cradley Heath Skills Campus - part of the Sandwell College Group. You will take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across our modern facilities, ensuring a safe, welcoming and hygienic environment for staff, students and visitors. This is a permanent, part-time, term time only position, working 3 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with your exact hours to be agreed at interview between 6:30 am and 5:00 pm.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning classrooms, offices and communal areas to agreed standards.
- Performing tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning windows and glass.
- Carrying out occasional deep cleans and ensuring all work complies with health and safety requirements.
- Reporting any issues, damages or hazards to the appropriate person.
- Supporting the College's wider objectives and participating in relevant training as required.
Skills, Knowledge & Experiences
- Previous cleaning experience, ideally within an educational, industrial or similar setting.
- A high standard of personal presentation and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
