Planning Consultant

CAD Planning is seeking a Planning Consultant in Truro, England, United Kingdom. This role may suit a Town Planner with a conservation interest, though it is not essential, to support CAD Heritage.

Location: CAD Architects, Truro

Salary: Negotiable, based on experience

Responsibilities

1. Carry out duties of a Planning Consultant
2. Prepare and submit planning applications
3. Draft Planning Statements, Appeal Statements, Third Party Objections, and Planning Appraisals
4. Engage with the Local Planning Authority
5. Conduct public and client presentations
6. Attend networking events
7. Generate new business and contact potential clients
8. Support Architects and advise on planning applications

Qualifications

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
2. Preferably 5 years of experience; graduates considered
3. MRTPI qualification preferred but not essential
