Act as the Enterprise Data Architect, providing early and ongoing input into all non-functional, architectural, and design-led discussions and decisions. Lead the design and implementation of advanced data architecture solutions, including data modelling, integration, access, visualisation, analytics, and database design.
Define and deliver the enterprise data roadmap, covering data models, enterprise data warehousing, and advanced analytics platforms. Develop and maintain the information architecture and migration roadmaps to support evolving business and operational requirements.
Provide leadership in the design and documentation of data storage and analytics environments for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data. Ensure all data solutions meet required non-functional standards for reliability, scalability, availability, and security.
Analyse new business requirements from a data architecture perspective, identifying technical dependencies, constraints, and risks. Provide expert technical guidance and assurance to developers and fellow architects, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.
Contribute to procurement and tender activities, including NFR definition, supplier engagement, and scoring of ITT responses. Produce and review key architectural artefacts, including high-level and low-level designs, options papers, integration diagrams, and executive-level briefing materials.
