Cactus TV is looking for a sophisticated, highly organized, and brilliant personal assistant to support our CEO at our busy Clapham studios. The role offers a rare insight into the inner workings of a long‑running independent production company, providing a 360‑degree view of how a studio operates from the top down. This position is pivotal and requires a high degree of professional maturity. You will act as the gatekeeper and bridge between the CEO, our in‑house production teams, and high‑profile talent. The CEO works on Saturday Kitchen live each week; the assistant works Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of a fast‑paced work and personal diary.
  • Prioritization of tasks, commitments and emails on behalf of the CEO, communicated in a timely manner.
  • Administrative tasks including, but not limited to, setting up meetings, taking notes in meetings, booking travel and personal errands.
  • Working closely with the in‑house production teams to ensure meetings/edits etc. are all in the diary and keeping abreast of any changes.
  • Managing communication with celebrities and guests and organising gifts.
  • Overseeing the smooth running of hospitality.

Skills required

  • Excellent diary management skills.
  • Strong communicator over email, phone and in‑person, including with high‑level stakeholders within the industry.
  • Professional maturity, particularly discretion and sound judgement.
  • Team player who is collaborative and has a can‑do attitude.
  • Ability to multitask in a busy environment whilst remaining calm.
  • A very proactive mindset – always looking ahead and anticipating needs.
  • An interest in popular culture, entertainment and TV production.
  • Previous PA experience, ideally in the creative industry or TV production.

Position Details

This is a permanent role requiring the candidate to be committed to the position for at least 1‑2 years. It is not an entry‑level role. The position is office‑based at the studios.
