Are you an experienced Pensions Administrator looking to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for a SIPP Administrator to join a growing team where you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional pension administration while supporting and mentoring colleagues. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys complex technical work, improving processes, and helping others develop.
You’ll be trusted to manage complex SIPP cases, act as a go-to person for technical support, and help maintain the high standards our clients expect. This role will be working in Portsmouth 2 days a week and 3 days from home.
Salary: £30k - £35k + Bonus (Up to 10%)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Setting up new SIPP accounts and managing onboarding
- Processing contributions, transfers (cash & in-specie), and investment transactions
- Administering drawdown, PCLS, and pension payroll payments
- Handling complex or escalated cases
- Preparing annual reports and statutory documentation
You’ll also play an important role within the team by:
- Reviewing work and supporting quality assurance
- Acting as a technical point of contact for colleagues
- Mentoring and coaching junior administrators
- Helping identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery
Working With Clients
A big part of the role is building strong relationships with advisers, clients and internal teams. You’ll ensure queries are handled professionally, accurately and efficiently while maintaining the highest levels of service.
Experience:
- Previous SIPP or pensions administration experience
- A strong understanding of pension legislation and HMRC rules
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
