Are you passionate about developing sales people and driving measurable performance? We're recruiting for a Sales Coach to join a fast-growing, ambitious business that's investing heavily in its sales function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on the sales floor, loves coaching in real time, and enjoys seeing the direct impact of their work on revenue and customer outcomes. This isn't a classroom-based training role. You'll be embedded within the operation, working side-by-side with advisors to improve sales conversations, objection handling, conversion rates and customer experience.
Working closely with the Sales Leadership and Operational teams, you'll coach advisors across outbound sales campaigns, helping individuals and teams consistently perform at their best. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering daily one-to-one and side-by-side coaching sessions.
- Listening to live and recorded calls, providing actionable feedback.
- Improving objection handling, sales confidence and closing techniques.
- Coaching advisors to identify additional customer opportunities and maximise cross-selling performance.
- Working alongside operational leaders to improve call quality, productivity and conversion rates.
- Supporting new starters through onboarding and ongoing development.
- Monitoring individual performance and creating tailored coaching plans.
- Helping to build a high-performance, positive sales culture.
What We're Looking For: You'll already have experience coaching or leading high-performing outbound sales teams and be passionate about developing people. You'll ideally have:
- At least two years' experience within a Sales Coach, Performance Coach, Sales Team Leader or Training role.
- Experience working in a fast-paced outbound contact centre or telesales environment.
- Strong sales coaching, objection handling and closing skills.
- The ability to motivate, influence and develop individuals at all levels.
- A hands-on approach with the confidence to demonstrate best practice through live call coaching.
- Experience within the utilities sector would be highly advantageous, although candidates from other high-volume outbound sales environments will also be considered.
What's On Offer: £35,000 - £40,000 basic salary & Performance bonus scheme. Hybrid working. Genuine career progression within a growing organisation. Supportive leadership team with significant investment in people development. If you enjoy developing sales talent, improving performance and making a visible impact on business results, we'd love to hear from you.
