We are looking for a Medical Writer who will work in a team to develop powerful, evidence-based scientific and medical information for different audiences. You will draw upon excellent communicative and scientific skills to develop clear and accurate communications that meet the expectations of the client.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop scientific and medical content for educational and promotional materials (for example, brochures, newsletters, booth panels), publications or clinical/regulatory documents.
  • Develop PowerPoint slides (scientific content and visual appearance) for presentation at meetings or for educational or training purposes.
  • Provide scientific and logistical support for symposia and meetings, including development of agenda, organisation and coordination of printed materials, assistance with slide presentations, contact with faculty, etc.
  • Proofread and data-check scientific documents, including slides, abstracts and educational materials.
  • Design and conduct critical literature reviews based on searching of online sources.
  • Correspondence and direct interaction with clients, faculty members and other third parties.
  • Liaise and build trusting, professional relationships with clients and healthcare professionals, learning to anticipate their needs.
  • Communicate smoothly and effectively with the team, clients and physicians.
  • Provide onsite support at client meetings, congresses, advisory boards, etc.
  • Attend client and other external meetings to support senior team members.
Skills and requirements:
  • PhD/MD in medicine, life or health sciences, or pharmacy.
  • At least 1–2 years’ writing experience, ideally within a medical communications agency or CRO.
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to interpret data quickly.
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare trends and their implications for our work.
  • Client-oriented approach, able to understand and meet clients’ needs and expectations.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Very good user knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint (or other cloud-based document management systems) and AI-based tools (especially CoPilot).
  • Good communication skills to clearly express complex ideas.
  • Able to work as part of a team or independently within a dynamic matrix environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, embracing opportunities to collaborate with, learn from and support other team members.
  • Able to prioritise simultaneous tasks and take initiative and responsibility.
