About Cacto
At Cacto Drinks, we’re on a mission to bring real refreshment with purpose. Made from fresh prickly pear juice (never concentrate), our award-winning cactus waters are low in sugar, planet-friendly, and crafted for great taste, good health, and a green future.
We’re a fast-growing Bristol start-up, led by founder Sam Jukes with support from an experienced chairman, and we’re now ready to bring in our first hire. Someone who can help us run smarter, faster, and more smoothly as we grow. We’re real people with an honest and flexible approach to accommodate people who value work life balance. You may need to work around busy family life or schedules so that’s no issue.
The Role
We’re looking for a senior, experienced all-rounder. Someone who has worn many hats in previous roles (office manager, accounts administrator, marketing assistant, project coordinator, HR support) and enjoys keeping a business running smoothly.
This is our first employee, so you’ll have a real impact. You’ll free up the founders to focus on sales and strategy by taking ownership of the day-to-day operations and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
Typical responsibilities might include:
· Supporting finance and bookkeeping (invoicing, expenses, reconciliations)
· Helping with HR and people admin (contracts, policies, onboarding)
· Marketing support. Social media scheduling, light content posting, coordinating campaigns
· Office management. Ensuring suppliers, stockists, and partners are managed smoothly
· Minute-taking, project planning, and keeping us on track
· General admin. Managing inboxes, preparing documents, arranging samples and logistics
We know no one will have every skill. What matters is solid experience in some of these areas, the ability to learn quickly, and the confidence to keep things organised.
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you are:
· Experienced. You’ve previously managed office, finance, or marketing functions in a professional environment
· Organised & reliable. You like systems, lists, and making sure everything runs on time
· Adaptable. Happy to jump between finance, marketing, HR, and admin as needed
· Proactive. You spot what needs doing and get it sorted without fuss
· Flexible. You want a role that works around school hours or family commitments
· Excited by start-ups. You like the idea of joining a small, growing business where you can make a difference
What We Offer
· A flexible part-time role (12 hours/week) that fits around your life
· £30,000 pro rata salary
· Share options. As our first hire, you’ll share in the long-term success of the business
· The chance to work closely with the founders of a fast-growing drinks brand
· Real variety. No two days will look the same
· A supportive, friendly culture where your experience will be valued
