The Opportunity
CACI is excited to offer a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior System Engineer to join our team in Southeast Asia. This non-hostile OCONUS (Outside Continental United States) assignment comes with a generous benefits package and numerous perks!
Clearance Requirement
A current TS/SCI poly clearance is required to begin employment. CACI will sponsor your clearance upgrade if you have an active TS/SCI.
Responsibilities
As a Senior System Engineer, you will be responsible for applying interdisciplinary engineering skills in technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analyses, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for complex solutions or products. These solutions may encompass various engineering or scientific disciplines, including hardware, aerospace, communications, cyber, electrical, manufacturing, mechanical, or other specialized domains. Your role will involve analyses at all levels of the total system product, from concept to disposal.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing system and derived requirements to ensure alignment with defined architectures (e.g., DoDAF, SOA).
- Contributing to systems engineering documentation, including System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
- Assisting in developing system and functional requirements and allocating them to hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
- Coordinating resolution of action items from CCB meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews requiring cross-discipline collaboration.
- Participating in Integrated Product Teams to design new capabilities based on development and operational considerations.
- Allocating real-time process budgets and error budgets across system and subsystem components.
- Generating alternative system concepts, physical architectures, and design solutions.
- Defining methods, processes, and evaluation criteria for verifying systems, subsystems, and work products against requirements.
- Developing system design solutions that satisfy system requirements and functional analysis.
- Reviewing and providing input to program/contract WBS, work packages, and the Integrated Master Plan (IMP).
- Supporting interface definition, design, and configuration changes throughout the system lifecycle.
- Deriving stakeholder needs and inferred functions essential to system effectiveness from system requirements.
- Supporting the establishment and approval of system or component definitions (requirements, designs, interfaces, test procedures, etc.) as common reference points for development teams.
- Developing derived requirements for Information Assurance services and mechanisms.
- Implementing operational, technical standards, and system/services architectural views aligned with DoDAF standards.
- Reviewing and/or approving engineering documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with system needs.
- Capturing interface designs using a common control format and storing data in an accessible repository.
- Assessing program risks, determining likelihood and consequence per approved risk management plans.
- Planning verification efforts for new/unproven designs early in the lifecycle in coordination with system stakeholders.
- Preparing timeline analysis diagrams illustrating time-dependent function flows.
Qualifications
Required: You are required to have an active TS/SCI poly clearance to start this assignment. However, CACI may provide Poly sponsorship for the selected candidate who already has an active TS/SCI and is selected for the opportunity.
Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Pay Range
The proposed salary range for this position is: $108,400 - $227,500 USD. At CACI, you will receive comprehensive benefits such as healthcare, wellness, financial, retirement, family support, continuing education, and time off benefits.
