The Role: Due to continued and sustained growth, we are looking for a Devops Engineer to join an Agile engineering team to work on a large complex programme of work for one of our customers, building a new bespoke software solution. You will be involved in: Designing, implementing and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS. Deploying, scaling, and managing Kubernetes clusters. Familiarity with related technologies such as Docker and Helm. Developing and implementing automated tools and processes for building, deployment, monitoring, testing and maintenance of infrastructure and applications Developing and maintaining policies and procedures for security, compliance, and disaster recovery Optimise infrastructure for high availability, fault tolerance, and cost efficiency Continuously monitor and improve infrastructure and application performance Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues Manage and mentor junior DevOps engineers The Fit: We are looking to recruit a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will have previous experience in a devops focussed role, able to play an active role in the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You will be excited about working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills. We are interested in speaking with candidates with experience in some of the following: Developing and deploying secure products using appropriate technology and patterns Familiarity with key cloud concepts and technologies Designing and operating highly available shared solutions Working in agile environments using methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban Working with high-level stakeholders -both internally and externally.
