We are the Information Intelligence Group (IIG) of CACI UK, a specialist software consultancy providing new bespoke solutions to solve our customers complex operational problems. Due to sustained growth, CACI is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to lead our Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) business stream — one of four key areas within the Information Intelligence Group (IIG), alongside Central Government, Defence and National Security & Intelligence.

The Opportunity:

As the CNI Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the strategic direction of the stream. This is a high-impact leadership role with full P&L ownership, overseeing a dedicated team including Business Development, Account Management, Delivery, and Technical specialists.

You will work closely with customers such as the Met Office, National Highways, , Utilities, NHS driving growth and strengthening our presence in the CNI sector. Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the CNI business stream and act as the senior point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Contributing to senior level strategic decision-making across all IIG.
  • Accountable for submitting winning bids, being a key bid contributor, providing oversight and coaching of others. Ensuring alignment of CACI’s value propositions with the needs of the customer.
  • Define and execute the CNI growth strategy in line with broader IIG and CACI objectives.
  • Drive business development efforts, including upselling, cross-selling, and expanding existing client engagements.
  • Develop and negotiate commercial agreements in collaboration with Account Managers and Legal teams.
  • Identify and pursue collaboration across other IIG business streams to amplify CACI’s value to CNI clients.
  • Build and maintain trusted senior relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and partner organisations to enhance delivery capability.
  • Represent CACI in the wider CNI sector through thought leadership, industry events, conferences, and media.
  • Accurately forecast pipeline and revenue, leveraging strong market insight and client relationships.

The Fit:

This role is ideal for a senior professional with deep experience in CNI, strong commercial acumen, and a proven ability to lead teams, develop client relationships, and deliver sustainable business outcomes. You will have:

  • Significant experience in sales, business development, or account leadership within the CNI sector.
  • A proven track record of developing and delivering strategic business plans.
  • Deep understanding of sales process governance and best practices – specifically government frameworks and procurement.
  • Strong technical acumen, with the ability to understand, articulate and influence our capabilities e.g. in cloud, agile, software engineering, platform modernisation and UCD.
  • Strong commercial skills including contract negotiation and pipeline management.

Due to the industries we work in, we require all our team to be able to obtain security clearance. To qualify for this, you must be a British passport holder and have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years.
