Network Engineer - ICT Services

We are looking for a seasoned Wireless Network Engineer to join our infrastructure team within a leading financial institution. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and supporting secure wireless networks in high-availability, mission-critical environments. Design, deploy, and manage wireless LAN solutions, ensuring optimal performance and security. Implement and maintain firewall solutions, including configurations from perimeter to DMZ roles. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IPS deployments across European branches. Develop and enforce global standards for networking devices and configurations. Lead the migration of network infrastructure to align with new security frameworks. Perform site surveys and RF planning using tools like Ekahau or AirMagnet. Proven experience in wireless network engineering within banking or similarly regulated sectors. Strong understanding of VLAN segregation, DMZ configurations, VSS, OSPF, and high-availability setups. Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages like Python, Ansible, or Terraform is advantageous. Cisco Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE in Wireless or Enterprise Infrastructure. Other: ITIL V3 Foundation, JNCIA, or JNCIS. Experience in high-density Wi-Fi deployments, preferably in large venues or arenas. Ability to lead and coordinate wireless network projects from conception to completion. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to network optimization.
