Projects could include anything from working with a leasing department of a shopping centre to advise on the brand mix, to working with residential house builders telling them what types of homes to build in a specific location.

Role and Responsibilities
In the last few years, the Business Advisory team at CACI have experienced significant growth in consulting revenues; to support this continued growth, we have an opportunity for an Associate to join us for a summer internship at the CACI UK Headquarters in Kensington, London. The role is designed to support a variety of projects, providing strategic recommendations, bespoke analysis and consultancy services to some of the UK and Europe’s biggest landlords and property owners. This includes Westfield, Landsec and British Land.
A large part of the role will involve analysing quantitative and qualitative data on shoppers, as well as helping our clients answer the following types of questions:
- Who are my shoppers and how should we market to them?
- What is the optimum tenant mix for my development?
- What is the best location to build in?
- How big should my development be?
- How do I perform compared to my competitors?
The successful candidate is expected to have good problem‑solving skills, be able to draw clear conclusions from data and work to tight deadlines.
Core Skills, Knowledge and Experience
The ideal candidate, as well as being a highly motivated self‑starter, will have the following skills:
- Studying a subject with high numerical content (e.g. Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or Geography)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity or experience of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) a plus
- Good inter‑personal skills and the ability to present to audiences
- A sound understanding and appreciation of UK retailing and UK geography
