The role is within CACI’s Retail Finance Benchmarking group, which maintains a number of member-subscribed, data pooling services for a large proportion of the UK’s banks, building societies and fintech retail finance providers, covering the UK mortgages, savings, current accounts and personal loans sectors. Each service member provides data on a regular, periodic basis. CACI processes and aggregates this data and publishes the output for each member to a secure portal. The core outputs comprise a series of interactive dashboard views of the member’s performance, versus a pooled, anonymised rest of market.
The services enable members to:
- form an objective view of their performance
- take more informed decisions around product, channel, acquisition, and retention
- ascertain market reactions to those decisions
- identify shifts in market sentiment
In addition to maintaining the content available on our self-serve portal, our team drives highly regarded value add insights to our members, delivered through the design and generation of ad-hoc outputs, presentations, workshops, and sales support. Each of our core service areas are supported by an annual event, either an in-person conference or webinar, where we present insights and market trends gleaned from our data to our membership.
This is a standout opportunity to lead the insight function within CACI’s highly regarded Retail Finance Benchmarking group and to become our authoritative voice on market intelligence. As a senior figure in the team, your work will be central to helping CACI both retain and grow our customer base through high quality, influential insight.
In this role, you will apply your deep knowledge of the retail finance market to transform CACI’s rich data assets into actionable, commercially valuable insights that give our members a competitive edge. You’ll take ownership of defining, crafting and delivering our insight content - supported by our Tableau experts - while ensuring every output demonstrates clarity, rigour and a strong narrative.
As the face of our insight capability, you’ll play a prominent client facing role: shaping the story behind our data, presenting to member organisations at industry conferences and webinars, and supporting Relationship Managers during quarterly business reviews, customer workshops and tailored presentations. You will proactively identify relevant trends from both CACI datasets and open source market intelligence, ensuring our clients always receive timely, thought provoking perspectives. In addition, you will brief the wider team on emerging market trends and developments, keeping colleagues informed and equipped with the latest insight to support their own work and client conversations.
This is a dynamic and highly visible position, offering significant scope to elevate your professional profile within the retail finance industry. You’ll work with an unusually rich dataset, engage with a wide network of financial services brands, and have the autonomy to set the direction of our insight agenda. The role reports to the Director of the Retail Finance Benchmarking group.
