About the Role

Are you ready to make an impact in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment? As our Business Development Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our dynamic team, working closely with the Growth Manager to unlock new opportunities and drive ongoing business success. Working closely with our Business Growth Manager, you will provide support across the full sales lifecycle, initially in triaging opportunities identified through commercial frameworks and the bidding process, through to developing a pipeline of opportunities and direct customer engagement. You will have the autonomy to drive operational efficiency, ensuring data integrity, and enhancing processes that contribute to successful client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spot and Share Opportunities: Manage and triage leads from diverse frameworks and procurement sources (Crown Commercial, Utilities, National Security & Defence, Transport, Health sectors) and connect them with the right teams.
  • Keep Us on Track: Maintain accurate CRM data (Bigin/Netsuite) to ensure seamless tracking of leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
  • Turn Data into Insights: Support the creation of sales reports, dashboards, and performance analytics that drive smarter decisions.
  • Build the Pipeline: Assist with forecasting and pipeline management to keep growth on target.
  • Own the Details: Coordinate bid communications, proposals, pricing, and contracts alongside sales and legal teams.
  • Make Us Better: Monitor and improve internal sales processes and documentation for maximum efficiency.
  • Be the Backbone: Provide essential support to keep the sales team performing at its best.

The Fit

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate in the early stages of their career with a relevant degree (e.g. Business, IT, Geography) who’s eager to pursue a career in Business Development and Account Management. If you’re analytical, detail‑oriented, and excited by the intersection of business operations and technical consultancy, this role will give you the platform to grow, learn, and make a real impact. Due to the industries we work in, we require the successful candidate to be able to obtain high level security clearance. To qualify for this, you must be a British citizen and have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years.

Why work for us?

  • Flexi‑time: 37.5 hour weeks to structure how you want.
  • Hybrid working: Work from one of our offices or from home – you choose.
  • L&D: Budget for conferences, training courses and other materials.
  • Social: Fantastic culture with monthly social events.
  • Future You: Matched pension and health care package.
