We are the Information Intelligence Group (IIG) of CACI UK, a specialist technical consultancy providing bespoke solutions to solve our customers' complex operational problems. As our business continues to grow, we are interested in speaking with an experienced Talent Officer to join our forward-thinking and fast-paced organisation within a close-knit specialist internal recruitment team. You will be designated a base office which could include Manchester, Bristol, Cheltenham or Plymouth; however, we work in a hybrid fashion so there is flexibility to work between our offices or home.
The Opportunity: Our talent team plays a vital role in supporting CACIβs continued growth and our ability to deliver world-class cutting-edge technical solutions to our customers. Working as part of a team of 4, you will partner with senior stakeholders across our business streams: Central Government, National Security, Defence & Critical National Infrastructure, to manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requirement capture through to offer acceptance. As a Talent Acquisition Officer, you will work closely with your team and external suppliers to ensure a seamless candidate experience. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of recruitment processes within the tech sector.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates for a range of open vacancies including Software, DevOps, BAβs, Project Management and Testing.
- Partnering with hiring managers to understand role requirements and creating compelling job descriptions.
- Utilising job boards, social media, networking, and direct sourcing to build talent pipelines.
- Screening CVs and conducting initial interviews to assess technical and cultural fit.
- Liaising with senior stakeholders across the business to understand recruitment requirements.
- Providing recommendations to senior managers for candidate progression.
- Proposal of offers and approval management with senior stakeholders.
- Maintaining accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Posting job openings on company website, job boards, and social media.
- Working with specialist recruitment agencies to fill hard-to-fill positions.
- Managing candidate communications throughout the process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Attending career fairs and supporting initiatives to promote the company as an employer of choice in the technical sector.
- Curating internal CVs to be used as proposal documents for customers.
The Fit: This role would be well suited for an experienced in-house or agency recruiter with experience sourcing hard-to-fill technical roles, with a proven ability to deliver resources in a fast and cost-effective manner. Experience recruiting within Defence or National Security sectors would be an advantage but not essential. Due to the industries we work in, we require all our team to be able to obtain security clearance. To qualify for this, you must be a British passport holder and have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years.
