The Opportunity:

As an experienced Agile Project Manager / Delivery Lead, you will be working within our Central Government team, taking delivery responsibilities for a large and complex in-flight technology project (software). You will be responsible for planning, tracking, and reporting on all project matters, ensuring high quality levels are maintained from both a project and people perspective. Other typical responsibilities include:

  • Managing relationships and engagement with customers and partners.
  • Responsibility for the delivery of IT Software projects to the agreed cost, timescale, quality, and scope.
  • Using a mix of traditional project management and agile delivery skills.
  • Providing leadership to the team.
  • Communicate and facilitate in diverse situations with stakeholders and key customers.
  • Adopting appropriate delivery methods and tools, including agile & scaled agile.
  • Constantly reviewing progress and tailoring delivery methods to the specific delivery.
  • Reporting on the project and issue escalation.
  • Become an active participant in the CACI delivery community, sharing best practice, supporting & mentoring others, and looking to continually improve our delivery processes.

For our current requirement, we are looking for someone with:

  • Experience supporting projects with large government agencies or similar type organisations.
  • Experience managing software based projects in an agile delivery environment.
  • Understanding of Agile principles, able to participate in Agile ceremonies.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to handle difficult situations and resolve conflict.
  • Project commercial awareness, such as budget tracking, risk management and forecasting.
  • Ability to build and maintain high performing teams.

Due to the industries we work in, we would prefer applicants to currently hold high level security clearance. To qualify for this, you must be a British citizen and have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years.
