About Us: We are the Information Intelligence Group (IIG) of CACI UK, a specialist software consultancy providing bespoke solutions to solve customers' complex operational problems. As our business grows, we are looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer with expertise in Java to join one of our live projects within our Central Government team. Based locations include Manchester, Bristol, Cheltenham, or Plymouth. We offer a hybrid working model, allowing you to choose how often you work from the office or home, with an expectation of meeting customers on a bi‑weekly basis.
The Opportunity:
- Implementing software solutions including design, development, and testing.
- Using a wide range of technologies, specializing in open‑source libraries and components.
- Utilizing tools such as GitLab to build continuous integration pipelines, ensuring software quality and security.
- Deploying software systems to public (AWS and Azure) and private cloud environments.
- Full software lifecycle involvement: project concept formalisation; requirements analysis and specification; architecture design; implementation and delivery; training and support; and maintenance.
- Lead teams and manage engagement with clients (depending on experience).
The Fit:
- We are seeking Full Stack Engineers with commercial experience using Java and JavaScript.
- Comfort with cloud technologies, primarily AWS, is essential.
- Previous consultancy experience is useful but not required.
Security Clearance: All candidates must be able to obtain security clearance. To qualify, you must be a British passport holder and have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years.
