We are the Information Intelligence Group (IIG) of CACI UK, a specialist software consultancy providing bespoke solutions to solve complex operational problems. We are recruiting an Account Manager to join the National Security team. Candidates ideally hold high level security clearance and are able to support customers from Cheltenham & London, with a 4 to 5 day per week in-office requirement.
The National Security & Intelligence (NS&I) account forms one of our four Business Streams within CACI’s Information Intelligence Group (IIG). With a growing track record and expanding market share in Defence, Critical National Infrastructure and Central Government, we are targeting significant growth. The Account Manager will help increase the diversity of our client base by identifying and securing new opportunities within departments adjacent to where CACI already has a proven track record. You will work directly to the NS&I Director, supported by a team of Portfolio Delivery Managers, Technical Leads and an NS&I Workforce Coordinator.
As an NS&I Account Manager, you will build on our established relationships with UK National Security clients and related partners. Responsibilities include:
- Ownership and management of existing client relationships, and development of new relationships outside delivery projects within a defined customer area.
- Building and maintaining strategic relationships with key clients and stakeholders within the area.
- Sharing business intelligence about client initiatives and budgets with the NS&I Leadership Team.
- Identifying and shaping new business opportunities with key clients, working with their commercial managers and CACI’s partners to secure new orders.
- Collaborating with NS&I Technical Leads and IIG’s Operations Team to develop market propositions aligned with client needs and evolving our service offerings.
- Working with the NS&I Workforce Coordinator to identify resources required to deliver successful outcomes.
- Maintaining a forecast of future work and pipeline for the customer area.
- Leading and managing bids, coordinating with technical experts to formulate successful proposals.
- Transitioning client relationships to Portfolio and Delivery Leads post-win, while maintaining periodic engagement with key clients.
- Acting as a secondary escalation point for NS&I Delivery Leads for issues arising within existing projects and customers.
- Establishing and managing partnerships with external organisations in alignment with account goals, ensuring mutual benefit for CACI, partners, and clients.
We are seeking individuals with relevant NS&I sector experience, either as Account Managers or with transferable skills suitable for the responsibilities outlined, with appropriate support.
Due to the industries we work in, all team members must be able to obtain security clearance. To qualify, you must be a British passport holder and have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years.
We offer a dynamic, inclusive, and team-led environment with a market-leading benefits package, including:
- Wellbeing: Free 24/7 counselling helpline and employee assistance programme
- Work Flexibility: City-centre offices across the UK with flexitime and at-home working
- Learn & Grow: Assigned Career Coach for development
- Social: Regular events and activities throughout the year
- Onsite Allowances: Expenses for lunch and drinks
