Mood is a large-scale data visualisation platform designed to bring disparate systems together into a single, coherent working model for management and future planning.

The Opportunity

You will be leading on one or more of our fast-paced, Agile projects; using Agile and architecture methodologies to enable the transformation of systems for customers. As a Solutions Architect working on a range of customer facing technical solutions, you will take a leading role in the delivery team, from scoping, managing and delivering projects to agreed cost and time via our Agile framework, through to defining/assessing high level technical architectures and managing relationships with our customers using the Mood product. Through working closely with your counterparts within customers, we would expect you to grow the IIG influence and generally broaden the IIG footprint.

  • Measuring and Reporting against delivery for projects you own.
  • Drafting technical Statements of Requirements and User Stories for bespoke applications and platform solutions (may include infrastructure and networks).
  • Defining and assessing technical architectures, solutions & business requirements.
  • Production of high- and low-level architectural models (process, technology, data).
  • Providing consultancy support to customers, assisting them with technology choices and solutions to complex problems.
  • Applying knowledge of software systems deployed to a mixture of environments including public (AWS and Azure) and private cloud.
  • Providing leadership and support to delivery team members as required.

Qualifications / The Fit

  • Defining and assessing technical architectures, requirements and solutions.
  • Agile project delivery and reporting.
  • Creation of technical statements of requirements for cloud native applications and platform solutions.
  • Design and Implementation of solutions to support digital transformation and the modernisation of IT Infrastructure and services.
  • Production of high- & low-level technical designs.

Due to the industries we work in, we require the successful candidate to be able to obtain high level security clearance. To qualify for this, you must be a British citizen and have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years.

Benefits

  • Flexi-time: 37.5 hour weeks to structure how you want.
  • Hybrid working: Work from one of our offices or from home - you choose.
  • L&D: Budget for conferences, training courses and other materials.
  • Social: Fantastic culture with monthly social events.
