Seismic is seeking a talented Senior Director of EMEA Marketing who will be responsible for successfully leading the company’s regional marketing organization for EMEA. The EMEA Region is a significant market for the business and requires a dynamic Marketing leader to take ownership of driving pipeline across the EMEA. Reporting to the VP of Growth Marketing, he/she will lead a team of high-performance marketers and play a critical role in the leadership of the business.
This leader will leverage his/her business acumen, technology expertise, and strategic marketing skills to build and manage a team that will support the growth objectives of our EMEA Go-to-market teams while expanding our market presence, driving adoption and usage of our products and services and improving customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention. This role requires an individual with strong leadership, stakeholder management and entrepreneurial skills who can evangelize a transformative vision for the company while driving demand and delivering a healthy pipeline.
The successful candidate will be an exceptionally strong and creative field marketing professional, adept at rigorously managing the pipeline and will be steeped in ABM, digital and social marketing practices. This Leader must be driven and nimble enough to work in a rapidly changing industry, influence others, lead a team, understand data and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
Who you are:
- 10+ years of proven work experience in B2B or SaaS companies
- 5+ years in leadership role
- BA/BS required
- Exceptional leadership skills and proven ability to attract, develop and coach rock-star talent
- Deep experience leading a regional field marketing organization at scale
- Familiarity in managing distributed teams and agencies in multiple geographies
- Ability to excel at creating marketing strategy and vision and seeing it through to successful execution
- Thrives operating in both left-brain and right-brain mode – ability to easily distill highly technical concepts into marketing messaging, vehicles and campaigns that are accessible, easily understood and creative
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue through highly effective marketing and measured accountable results
- Advanced expertise in B2B digital marketing, ABM programs and marketing analytics
- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships across multiple departments and functions
- Experience with Salesforce, 6-sense and Marketo required
- Highly proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (internal and external)
- High-energy, low ego, optimistic, proactive, reliable, hard-working and trustworthy
What you'll be doing:
- Managing, developing and coaching a high-performing regional field marketing team
- Ensure corresponding alignment with sales engagement for all ABM strategies
- Driving customer growth through cross-sell and upsell campaigns
- Working cross-functionally by building strong alignment with sales, corporate and product marketing, marketing operations, finance, inbound sales and more.
- Driving the creation and implementation of a robust EMEA go-to-market marketing plan to drive acquisition, expansion, retention and brand awareness for EMEA, with consideration for unique geographic market needs, and aligning to EMEA business objectives
- Translating the EMEA strategic marketing plan into actionable quarterly targets, goals, initiatives, campaigns/plays, and metrics and a 90-day rolling calendar of integrated activities
- Analyzing the sales cycle, channel mix and customer segmentation to formulate ideas and approaches to optimize the selling process across different customer segments and personas.
- Introducing new marketing ideas, channels and tactics to help scale the EMEA business
- Managing budgets, allocating resources between channels, reporting on pipeline targets, and continually optimizing campaigns to increase ROI.
- Working to ensure successful lead capture/nurture and handoff to sales teams
- Working with business development and sales teams to create and execute both strategic and tactical campaigns such as call downs, email blasts etc.
- Align with product marketing team to ensure consistent branding and messaging, as well as differentiated offers based on buyer personas
