Associate Midwifery Unit Manager (AMUM)
Our Maternity department is supported by a multidisciplinary team, including midwives, registered nurses, and lactation consultants, working together 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and operational direction.
- Coordinate and oversee the delivery of patient care, ensuring it aligns with Cabrini's standards and values.
- Implement and monitor hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Hold accountability for the ward in the absence of the Maternity Services Manager.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive environment for staff development and patient care.
About You
- At least two years of experience in a leadership or similar role.
- Demonstrated clinical and leadership skills.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes.
- Ability to work within the Mission and Values of the organisation.
- Flexibility and a positive attitude.
