Associate Midwifery Unit Manager (AMUM)

Our Maternity department is supported by a multidisciplinary team, including midwives, registered nurses, and lactation consultants, working together 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and operational direction.
  • Coordinate and oversee the delivery of patient care, ensuring it aligns with Cabrini's standards and values.
  • Implement and monitor hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Hold accountability for the ward in the absence of the Maternity Services Manager.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive environment for staff development and patient care.

About You

  • At least two years of experience in a leadership or similar role.
  • Demonstrated clinical and leadership skills.
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes.
  • Ability to work within the Mission and Values of the organisation.
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude.
