You will be:

  • Competent in AutoCAD with associated prior experience
  • Have a flair for component design and some experience of component design in metal work
  • Ideally have an understanding of 3D printing and modelling using polymers, although not essential
  • Methodical and supported by a clean administrative vision
  • Have an attention to detail
  • Be able to work on your own initiative and at pace as required by our workstream

This is an exciting opportunity to join the UK's leading medical supply unit manufacturer and contribute towards our growing success. We operate in a high volume fast paced environment where commitment to the role and attention to detail is paramount. The role has some element of concept design involved although configuring our established systems to client needs is the core function.

You will be experienced in AutoCAD and have experience in a similar role ideally within an allied engineering sector. We are looking for the right person to make their mark across our team and add value to our offer.

As a Cableflow CAD Technician you’ll be recognised as an industry specialist working within a market leading design and manufacturing business. You will be supporting our Design Director on developing and integrating our products within new build or refurbishment healthcare projects across the UK for our NHS and private sector healthcare clients.

You will be based at our High Wycombe head office facility where we operate on a 40 hour week. This is an entry level position for the right person and demonstrating competency in AutoCAD is essential. Any experience in 3D modelling would be an asset but not essential. You should have an eye for detail, good communication and presentation skills and recognise the quality of product we aspire to, taking pride in the end product whilst sharing our values and those of our clients.

You will be required to demonstrate innovative qualities and contribute to design collaboration across the business. The work is specialised but the experience of our team will be fully on hand to guide, train and help resolve. We will train you and you will generally work as part of a fully supervised team, although some individual working requiring initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude is vital.
