We are ideally looking for a Chef de Partie who:

  • Deliver our core focus; to lift people’s spirits and create memorable experiences
  • Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Manage and oversee a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared to specification
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to strict hygiene and safety standards
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and maintaining accurate records
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to coordinate and execute service during busy periods
  • Handle customer feedback and special requests, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests
  • Maintain, operate, and care for kitchen equipment safely, reporting any maintenance or repair needs promptly
  • Ensure portion control and minimize waste, adhering to cost control measures and guidelines
  • Support stock management and control – assist in receiving and proper storage of deliveries, ensuring quality and freshness; monitor stock levels and report shortages or issues promptly
  • Are available full time and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and most holidays
  • Have a good personality, a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and be consistent, reliable and an excellent team player
