The Role
As Manager – International Marketing & Communications, you will lead the planning and delivery of integrated marketing programmes that support CAAi's product development, commercial objectives, and global reputation as a trusted aviation consultancy and training provider. Working closely with Product Development, Business Development, technical experts, and senior stakeholders, you will develop and execute insight-led product marketing strategies that strengthen market presence, generate demand, and support customer acquisition across international markets.
Acting as a trusted marketing advisor, you will provide expert guidance on positioning, messaging, go-to-market approaches, and customer engagement across the customer journey, helping stakeholders make informed decisions that support business growth and strategic objectives. This is a hands-on marketing role that combines strategic thinking, campaign management, stakeholder engagement, content development, project leadership, and digital marketing expertise.
Key area of focus/responsibility
- Develop and deliver integrated B2B and B2G product marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels.
- Partner with Business Development teams to develop value propositions, targeted go-to-market strategies, and account-based marketing programmes that drive regional priorities, account activation, customer engagement, and pipeline growth.
- Lead campaign content strategy and oversee the creation of thought leadership, case studies, digital content, and marketing collateral.
- Manage and enhance digital and social media channels to maximise engagement and brand visibility.
- Improve the online customer experience through innovation and data-driven decision making.
- Lead key marketing transformation projects, such as CRM and digital optimisation, website development, brand development, and customer experience improvements across the customer journey.
- Support the development of CRM-driven marketing and automated customer journeys.
- Work collaboratively across commercial, technical, and leadership teams.
- Represent CAAi through presentations, webinars, events, and industry forums.
- Contribute ideas and identify trends, insights, and opportunities to strengthen marketing effectiveness and support business growth.
- Contribute to the development of the marketing function, with the opportunity to take online management responsibilities.
About You
We're looking for an experienced marketing professional who can confidently operate at both strategic and operational levels. Degree-level education in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Significant B2B marketing experience, ideally gained within aviation, professional services, consultancy, or a regulated environment. Proven success delivering integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns and supporting the launch of new products, services, or propositions. Experience driving business growth through demand generation, lead nurturing, pipeline development, and commercial marketing activities. Strong understanding of account-based marketing, product marketing, and go-to-market strategy development. Experience developing and optimising CRM platforms, marketing automation programmes, and customer journeys. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across senior leadership, technical, and commercial teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data, insight, and market intelligence to inform decision-making. Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholder requirements simultaneously. Experience managing digital marketing channels and content programmes, including social media, websites, and thought leadership initiatives. Experience leading marketing projects or transformation initiatives, such as CRM enhancements, website development, or customer experience improvements. Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Experience using content creation platforms such as Canva or Adobe Express.
- Awareness of AI and emerging marketing technologies.
- CIM qualification or working towards one.
- Experience within the aviation sector.
- Knowledge of SEO/GEO, content optimisation, and digital accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
- Experience working across international and multicultural environments.
- Experience building business cases to support marketing, digital, and customer experience initiatives.
- Additional language skills.
Additional Information
For many appointments within the CAA, these roles require access to operationally sensitive infrastructure and/or Nationally Protected information. For these roles the post holders must undergo National Security Vetting and achieve the appropriate level of clearance. Relocation & Property
The CAA will be relocating from Aviation House (Our Gatwick Office) to new premises in a few years’ time. Our move is driven by strategic, operational and environmental considerations. We will be moving to a new local home, up to a 15-mile radius of Aviation House, to minimise disruption for our valued colleagues and customers. We are now working with colleagues and visitors to understand what we need in our new office, before we start our property search. We will sell Aviation House and land, vacate the site and move to new premises, but we do not expect to move before 2028.
