A well-established and growing, engineering-led business operating within a specialist marine sector is looking to hire a Sales Executive to take ownership of its marine accessories product range.
The Role
You will take responsibility for the sales and development of a small, defined range of products. This is not cold sales, the company is already established and known in the market. The focus is on building relationships, increasing revenue from existing customers, and driving new opportunities through smart market development. Reporting into the Sales Manager, you’ll sit at the centre of this product area and play a key role in helping it grow.
Responsibilities of the Sales Executive:
- Manage the sales, promotion and ongoing development of a defined range of technical products
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, preparing technical quotations and commercial proposals
- Work closely with customers to understand requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
- Support product strategy through market research, forecasting and cross-functional collaboration
Requirements of the Sales Executive:
- Strong commercial awareness and sales capability
- Confident communicator with great relationship-building skills
- Comfortable discussing technical information (engineering exposure is a plus, but not essential)
- Organised, proactive and able to manage priorities independently
- Enjoys a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of an area of responsibility
Salary: Up to £38,000
