C9 Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of one of our leading clients in Tring. This role involves a mix of private hire, tours and school contracts. Drivers can expect varied work, modern customer-focused operations and the opportunity to represent a business with over 40 years of experience in delivering high-quality passenger.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate PCV vehicles on assigned routes.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, supporting passengers throughout their journey.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects or safety concerns.
- Comply with road traffic laws, driving regulations, and company policies.
- Keep accurate records of driving hours, mileage, and incidents.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle at all times.
- Work closely with operations staff for route planning, updates, and changes.
Rates of Pay
- Umbrella:
- Monday - Friday: £21.25 per hour
- Weekends: £21.91 per hour
- Bank Holiday: £21.91 per hour
- PAYE:
- Monday - Friday: £16.00 per hour
- Weekends: £16.50 per hour
- Bank Holiday: £16.50 per hour

Requirements and Experience
- Valid Category D driving licence and up to date Driver CPC qualification (essential).
- A digital tachograph card.
- Minimum 2 years PCV experience.
- Standard DBS or EDBS preferred.
- Minimum age 25 years (Due to insurance purposes).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Smart, professional appearance with a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work varying hours.
