C9 Recruitment are seeking experienced and reliable LCV Drivers to support specialist transport operations for our client based in Woking. This role involves the safe and efficient movement of high-value, fragile components across the country and at times localised intra-site transfers.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a range of light commercial vehicles including Citan, Vito, Sprinter and Luton vans
- Complete pre-shift vehicle checks and defect reporting using an electronic device
- Use a PDA system to confirm deliveries and collections
- Safely transport sensitive and fragile automotive components, ensuring care and attention at all times
- Adhere to all site procedures, safety standards and operational protocols
Role Requirements
- Previous experience driving LCV vehicles in a professional environment
- Experience in shuttle or intra-site transfer operations is advantageous
- High level of diligence and attention to detail, particularly when handling fragile goods
- Comfortable working in a structured, repetitive route environment in addition to long-distance driving
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and intellectual property requirements
- Full Cat B driving licence
- Maximum of 6 points. No DR, DG, DD, CD, IN10 or previous bans.
Working Hours
- 9-hour shifts with a required lunch break
- Weekend working may be required, with rest days scheduled during the week
- Paid sign on to sign off
- Average hours 40+ per week
