C9 Recruitment are looking for experienced and reliable PCV Coach Drivers looking for part time weekday work or weekends to join our client in London. This is an excellent opportunity with a well-established operator, offering competitive pay and structured work.
Job Benefits
- Part time available (Every weekend in August, min 20 hours)
- Weekends only / Weekdays only (From September)
- Min 35 hours guaranteed from September (weekdays)
- Overtime
- Weekly pay
- Paid sign on to sign off (For full days)
- Umbrella rates
- Monday - Friday - £22.58 per hour
- Saturday - Sunday - £23.90 per hour
- PAYE rates
- Monday - Friday - £17.00 per hour
- Saturday - Sunday - £18.00 per hour
Requirements
- Valid UK PCV Driving Licence (Cat D)
- Valid CPC (Driver Qualification Card)
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 2 years Coach driving experience (Including London experience)
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (NO DR, DG, DD, IN offences)
- No unspent criminal convictions
- DBS preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including days, lates, and nights
Key Responsibilities
- Safety & Compliance
- Drive safely in accordance with the Highway Code and company procedures.
- Ensure passenger safety and wellbeing at all times.
- Report all accidents, incidents, licence endorsements or criminal matters immediately.
- Comply with Drug & Alcohol policy and all company policies.
- Complete driver hours, tachograph and administrative documentation accurately.
- Vehicle Responsibility
- Carry out daily walk-round vehicle checks and report defects.
- Complete defect reports during and after duty as required.
- Refuel and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
