C9 Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and organised Duty Manager on behalf of a well-established coach operator based in the Slough area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company operating across the UK and Continental Europe, offering long-term career growth in a dynamic and supportive environment. As Duty Manager, you\’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, working closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to optimise driver and fleet allocation, maintain legal compliance, and uphold exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate drivers and vehicles to scheduled operations with efficiency and attention to cost control.
  • Liaise with drivers, sales, engineering teams, and customers regarding daily operational needs.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with internal policies and legal requirements, including EC drivers\’ hours regulations.
  • Respond to breakdowns, delays, and other incidents with effective decision-making and communication.
  • Ensure timely updates are provided to all relevant parties regarding service disruptions or incidents.
  • Coordinate vehicle procurement outside of standard office hours when required.

Requirements:
