C9 Recruitment are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for experienced Coach Drivers to join a reputable and high-profile operation based in Reading. This client delivers a range of premium transport services including school and university contracts and is seeking professional, reliable, and customer-focused drivers. This opportunity includes both full-time Monday to Thursday roles and part-time weekend-only positions, with potential for ongoing work and Temp to Perm opportunities for full-time candidates.

The Role

  • Operate a variety of school and university contracts
  • Represent a highly regarded transport provider with a reputation for excellence
  • Work alongside a professional and dedicated team
  • Monday to Thursday working pattern for FT roles, with opportunity for additional shifts
  • Weekend work available for drivers looking for part-time opportunities
  • Average duty length: 12 to 15 hours
  • Paid sign-on to sign-off
  • Free parking onsite
  • 24/7 operation, so a variety of shift patterns are available
  • Temp to Perm Umbrella Rate: £19.92 (Monday – Sunday)
  • PAYE Rate: £15.00 (Monday-Sunday)

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' coach driving experience
  • Enhanced DBS preferred or willingness to obtain
  • No more than 6 penalty points – no DR, DG, or previous bans
  • CPC and Tachograph card required

Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily walk-round vehicle safety checks
  • Deliver a professional and courteous service to passengers
  • Adhere to EU tachograph rules and company driving policies
  • Maintain a clean, well-presented vehicle at all times
  • Promote a positive image of the company through excellent customer service
