C9 Recruitment are currently seeking experienced PCV Bus Drivers for full-time work for our client based in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity to join a growing service, with flexible shift options and consistent hours.
The Role:
- 5 on, 3 off shift pattern – includes one paid “spare” day (minimum 5 hours if not driving)
- Paid sign on to sign off
- Average shift duration: 9–13 hours
- Weekly hours: 39–48+
- 24/7 operation with options for early, middle, late or night shifts
- Onsite parking available
Pay Rates:
- Umbrella - £20.58 per hour
- PAYE - £15.50 per hour
Your Responsibilities:
- Operate services safely and punctually
- Deliver a high standard of customer service to all passengers
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects
- Keep vehicle clean and well-presented
- Log hours and complete timesheets accurately
What You'll Need:
- Valid UK PCV (Category D) licence
- Valid CPC (Driver Qualification Card)
- Digital Tachograph Card
- At least 6 months Bus or Coach driving experience (2 years preferred)
- Basic or Enhanced DBS
- Minimum age: 20 years
- No more than 6 points on licence (no DRs, DGs, or bans)
