C9 Recruitment are looking for experienced and reliable PCV Coach Drivers looking for either full-time or weekend work only to join our client in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity with a well-established operator, offering competitive pay, structured work, and career progression.

  • Monday - Friday Night - £24.15 per hour
  • Weekend Day - £23.48 per hour
  • Weekend Night - £25.47 per hour
  • Paye rates
  • Monday - Friday Day - £17.00 per hour
  • Monday to Friday Night - £18.50 per hour
  • Weekend Day - £18.00 per hour
  • Weekend Night - £19.50 per hour

Requirements

  • Valid UK PCV Driving Licence (Cat D)
  • Valid CPC (Driver Qualification Card)
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Minimum 12 months UK bus driving experience
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points (NO DR, DG, DD, IN offences)
  • No unspent criminal convictions
  • DBS preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including days, lates, and nights

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate buses in line with traffic laws and company safety regulations
  • Transport passengers on scheduled services in a safe and timely manner
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects
  • Ensure vehicles are clean, fuelled, and roadworthy at all times
  • Comply with driver hours, tachograph, and legal requirements
  • Issue tickets and ensure passengers hold valid travel tickets
  • Deliver high standards of customer service and assist passengers when required
  • Assist passengers with mobility needs including wheelchair access
  • Report incidents, accidents, or compliance issues immediately
  • Comply with all Health, Safety, Security, HR and Environmental policies.
