SENIOR IT TECHNICIAN
Directly Responsible For:
- Efficient ticket management of the IT Helpdesk.
- Provide direction for the day to day workload of IT Technicians to ensure tickets and problems are resolved in a timely and effective manner.
- Support and work with staff and the Network Manager to deliver a safe, secure and effective learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the IT team to ensure efficiency of support and smooth running of facilities.
- Manage, prioritise and respond to helpdesk tickets according to their impact on use of the school and supported sites.
- Undertake project work, as planned with Network Manager, to develop the school and Supported sites.
- Provide cover for the Network Manager in occasions where they may be absent.
- Plan and monitor workload of yourself and the IT technicians.
