THE MODERN IT SUPPORT ENGINEER OPPORTUNITY
As a Modern IT Support Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the organisation's modern workplace environment while acting as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
- Providing technical escalation support for Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune and end-user computing technologies.
- Assisting with IT projects including cloud migrations, workplace enhancements and technology rollouts.
- Monitoring device compliance and ensuring the ongoing performance and stability of end-user systems.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, diagrams and operational procedures.
- Collaborating with wider technology teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, cloud and workplace support issues.
YOUR KEY SKILLS
- Previous experience in an IT Support, Modern Workplace, EUC or Infrastructure Support role.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Intune and modern device management.
- Good knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS and HTTP/S.
- Experience supporting cloud-based environments and end-user computing technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to document technical solutions and processes clearly.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications would be advantageous, including:
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
- ITIL Foundation
- Equivalent industry certifications
