Senior Commercial Finance Manager in Salisbury

JOB TITLE: Finance Manager Salisbury - office based (some home working) 25 - 28 per hour Mostly office based My client is a family owned and highly manufacturing company with a superb reputation in their industry. As Finance Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the company's day to day financial operations. This is a key role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced SME environment and is familiar with managing both domestic and international (European) trading operations, including currency considerations, cross-border VAT, and international logistics support Financial Management & Reporting Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and budget analyses Provide insightful reporting, particularly around sector-specific profitability and international sales performance Ensure full compliance with UK statutory requirements, VAT, and payroll Implement and maintain effective internal financial controls and procedures Operational Finance Responsible for purchase ledger, sales ledger, payroll, and banking operations Support supplier negotiations and financial logistics, especially for European and food service clients Contribute to ERP implementation and process improvements At least 3 years of experience in an SME finance role, ideally with exposure to manufacturing, food production, or FMCG A good working knowledge of UK accounting standards, VAT, and experience of cross-border compliance within the EU.
