THE HEAD OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES OPPORTUNITY: As Head of Professional Services, you will take full ownership of end-to-end project delivery, leading both the Project Management Office and technical delivery teams. Key responsibilities include:
- Setting the strategic direction for Professional Services, ensuring consistent, high-quality and profitable delivery across the project portfolio
- Owning delivery governance, PMO frameworks and commercial controls to drive predictability and scalability
- Leading and developing high-performing project and engineering teams, embedding a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Acting as senior escalation point and executive sponsor for key customers, ensuring strong stakeholder engagement and customer satisfaction
- Driving standardisation, repeatable delivery models and effective transition into managed services
YOUR KEY SKILLS: Proven senior leadership experience within Professional Services in an MSP or IT consultancy environment, Strong commercial acumen, including margin management, utilisation forecasting and project profitability, Deep experience operating PMO frameworks and scalable delivery methodologies (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or hybrid), Credible understanding of Microsoft cloud technologies (M365, Azure, Modern Workplace), Experience delivering into regulated or security-conscious environments (e.g. professional or financial services), Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate confidently at executive level, Relevant project or programme leadership certifications (PRINCE2, PMP, MSP, Agile/Scrum).
LEADERSHIP PROFILE: You will bring gravitas, empathy and resilience, with a coaching-led leadership style and a strong sense of ownership. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, making decisive calls, and balancing people wellbeing with commercial outcomes in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
