This is a senior leadership opportunity to shape and lead digital strategy at a pivotal point, ensuring digital channels, content, and platforms are aligned to organisational goals and deliver measurable impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define and deliver a comprehensive digital strategy aligned to organisational objectives
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary digital team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability
- Drive digital activity to increase awareness, engagement, and audience growth
- Oversee continuous improvement of the organisation's website, including UX, content, and performance
- Lead digital marketing activity across paid, organic, and email channels
- Oversee the creation of high‐quality digital content across multiple formats and platforms
- Champion accessibility, inclusion, and best practice across all digital platforms
- Act as a digital thought leader, keeping the organisation informed of emerging trends, technologies, and audience behaviours
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and joined‐up audience experiences
- Use data and insight to evaluate performance and continuously optimise digital activity
- Define, monitor, and report on digital KPIs including engagement, reach, and growth
- Manage digital budgets and external agencies or freelancers as required
KEY SKILLS:
- Proven experience leading digital marketing, content, and website strategy
- Strong understanding of website UX, digital design, and platform optimisation
- Demonstrable success delivering digital campaigns and managing social media channels
- Data‐driven mindset with experience using analytics and performance measurement tools
- Excellent communication, writing, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands‐on delivery
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:
- Experience within a complex or multi‐stakeholder organisation
