JOB TITLE: IT Assistant
LOCATION: Swindon, Wiltshire
SALARY: £30,000 - £35,000
WAY OF WORKING: Full Time
THE BUSINESS:
C4S are pleased to be working with a leading global construction and infrastructure company.
THE IT ASSISTANT OPPORTUNITY:
- Provide 1st line ICT support, logging, investigating, and resolving user issues.
- Escalate incidents to the ICT team when required.
- Set up and maintain user accounts, profiles, and access rights.
- Support business systems administration and updates.
- Manage and track ICT assets (laptops, mobiles, tablets, phone numbers).
- Assist with employee ICT onboarding/offboarding.
- Report suspected misuse or incidents to senior ICT staff.
- Support large-scale ICT rollouts and projects.
YOUR KEY SKILLS:
- IT Support – Experience providing helpdesk support and troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
- User Account Management – Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, or similar systems.
- Device Management – Ability to set up, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobiles, and tablets.
- Operating Systems – Knowledge of Windows (), macOS, and basic cross-platform support.
