JOB TITLE: Dev Ops Engineer LOCATION: London – Hybrid working PACKAGE: £70-90k WAY OF WORKING: 1 – 2 days in office THE BUSINESS: My client are a global service provider with prestigious sites that can be found all around the globe. THE OPPORTUNITY: My client is seeking a DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure management, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments to support our development and operational needs. Key accountabilities: Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar. Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance and reliability. Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications. Implement and manage security best practices to safeguard cloud environments and applications. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues in a timely manner. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in Azure and DevOps practices. Key Skills required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Azure cloud services. Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure, including VMs, App Services, Azure SQL, networking, and security. Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or similar. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
