Job Title – BESS Service Technician Their Purpose – As a subsidiary of a global renewables company, they are a key player in the utility-scale battery energy storage market in the UK. They are dedicated to driving the deployment of battery energy storage systems (BESS) through an integrated solution, contributing to the widespread adoption of renewable energy. Location & Flexibility – Field based (Midlands) – UK. 4-in-1 call out rotation Salary & Benefits – Up to £47k + 15% bonus, Up to £2,500 a year medical insurance allowance, 25 days + bank holidays, pension matched up to 8% About the Job: As the Service Technician, you will begin with an intensive 8-16-week hands-on training period, focusing on the commissioning of new BESS sites and gaining comprehensive knowledge of the clients technology. After the training phase, you will transition into their service team to support ongoing preventative and corrective maintenance.
