The 3rd Line Support Engineer Opportunity:
- Act as the final escalation point for complex incidents, problems and major incidents across managed services
- Lead root cause analysis, problem management and preventative remediation activities
- Own and deliver proactive managed technical services including audits, health checks and assessments
- Engage directly with customers as a trusted technical authority during high‑severity or complex issues
- Mentor and develop 1st and 2nd Line engineers, raising overall technical maturity and service quality
Your Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Senior / 3rd Line Engineer within a Managed Services environment
- Strong Microsoft stack expertise, including: Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID, Intune), Windows Server & Active Directory, Azure (core services, identity and networking fundamentals)
- Solid understanding of endpoint management, networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs) and security best practice
- Experience working with ITSM tools and ITIL‑aligned processes (e.g. ConnectWise Manage)
- Comfortable leading major incidents, producing RCA documentation and owning complex issues end‑to‑end
- Confident communicator with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non‑technical stakeholders
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
