C4 Logistics are an award-winning provider of European Transport Solutions and Customs Clearance. With offices across Europe and an in-house customs team, C4 are one of Europe\'s leading emergency transport providers.
We are looking for an experienced Transport Coordinator to join our established logistics team, providing bespoke expedited transport solutions via road and air to our global clients.
Our ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of European Road Freight, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Please note:
This position has a rotating shift pattern: Monday - Friday, Week 1: 7am - 4pm, week 2: 10am - 7pm.
This role is in-person only at our headquarters in Coventry (CV4)
What will you be doing?
- Taking phone/e-mail enquiries from customers
- Quoting clients on their shipments, providing the best price and solution.
- Negotiating prices with our suppliers
- Checking on collections and deliveries with suppliers and advising clients on updates
- Problem solving when issues occur and offering solutions to meet client requirements
Desirable skills (full training will be given):
- At least 2+ years experience in a similar role
- Flexibility, adaptability and quick thinking, high attention to detail.
- Good overall knowledge of various road transport modes: part and full load/ customs
- EU and UK customs understanding
