About the Role If you’re interested in events, travel, and working behind the scenes to bring large-scale experiences to life, this could be a great starting point. As a Business Travel Consultant, you’ll support the planning and execution of air travel for group events, meetings, and incentive programs. You’ll work closely with our UK and US team members to coordinate flights, assist travellers, and help ensure everything runs smoothly from planning through event completion. This is a hands-on, fast-paced, and highly collaborative role where you’ll manage the ins and outs of group travel, airline logistics, and event operations. What You’ll Do Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ticketing department, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and service standards are maintained. Research and share flight options, pricing, and schedules Book and ticket flights through specific GDS systems, managing ticketing queues and hitting SLAs and client deadlines Communicate with participants via email to share itineraries, answer travel questions, help with changes or requests, track and help manage program budgets and travel details, ensure compliance to customers' agreed travel policy, service provider policies and regulatory requirement. Partner with internal teams like Event Managers, Travel Directors and accounting teams Help resolve travel issues (delays, changes, cancellations) Navigate airline systems and internal tools What Makes This Role Unique You’ll gain exposure to large-scale events and group travel logistics It’s a mix of detail-oriented work + problem-solving + communication What We’re Looking For We’re looking for experienced business travel consultants looking for the next step in their career. You might be a great fit if you: You are currently working in a Business travel consultant position and have hands on experience in a ticketing role. Have experience ticketing and reissuing for multiple airlines Solid experience of GDS systems, such as Galileo Are highly organised and detail-oriented Enjoy working with people and solving problems Proficiency in technology products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Docs Are comfortable communicating clearly via email and Teams Like working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Are tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems Have a strong sense of accountability and follow-through This is a hybrid role with 50% of the working week in the office, based in Wakefield, Yorkshire
